Online Workshop
Contemporary Afro-Brazilian Dance
The focus of this Workshop is the development and encouragement of the rhythmical perception. The aim is to enable the students to regain the contact to the „earth“ element. Various exercises will help conciliate the own rhythm. This facilitates a conscious perception of the self and strong relationship to the own center of the body, the abdomen.
In African mythologies, the earth element is linked to self-confidence, focus, inner peace, firmness and physical health.
Based on Afro-Brazilian dances, Traditional African dances, Modern dance and the training of Katherine Dunham technique with Othella Dallas, Regina Ribeiro in 40 years of experience in dance pedagogy has developed her own style and methodology.
In the Contemporary Afro-Brazilian dance online workshop for all levels, students will experience a repertoire of movements in choreographic forms. The goal is to renew energy and express feelings such as joy, anguish, love, aggression, fear and confidence in a creative and positive way.
Born in São Paulo, she is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, vocalist, author, dancer and producer. Regina Ribeiro has professional training and artistic experience in Brazil, the United States, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Japan, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Cameroon.
In 1983, she took up residence in Switzerland, where she taught for 12 years at the Institute of Sports at the University of Bern.

Dança Contemporânea Afro-Brasileira
O foco deste Workshop é o desenvolvimento e estimulação da percepção rítmica. O objetivo é permitir que os alunos retomem o contato com o elemento "terra". Isso facilita uma percepção consciente do eu e um forte relacionamento com o centro do corpo, o abdômen.
Nas mitologias africanas, o elemento terra está ligado à autoconfiança, foco, paz interior, firmeza e saúde física.
Baseada em danças afro-brasileiras, danças tradicionais africanas, dança moderna e formação na técnica de Katherine Dunham com Othella Dallas, Regina Ribeiro em 40 anos de experiência em pedagogia da dança desenvolveu seu próprio estilo e metodologia.
No Workshop Online de Dança Contemporânea Afro-Brasileira para todos os níveis, os alunos vivenciarão um repertório de movimentos em formas coreográficas. O objetivo é renovar as energias e expressar sentimentos como alegria, angústia, amor, agressividade, medo e confiança de forma criativa e positiva.
Natural de São Paulo, é bailarina, coreógrafa, professora, vocalista, autora e produtora. Regina Ribeiro tem formação profissional e experiência artística no Brasil, Estados Unidos, França, Itália, Alemanha, Áustria, Finlândia, Suécia, Noruega, Suíça, Japão, Costa do Marfim, Gana e Camarões.
Em 1983, fixou residência na Suíça, onde lecionou durante 12 anos no Instituto de Esportes da Universidade de Berna.
